Date Solon EIS Fund will invest in 8-10 companies in UK healthcare and technology markets. Solon is raising up to £10m in an unapproved fund which will be invested over the coming 24 months, so investors can offset the investment against their 2011/12 income tax. Solon is active in this market with a Limited Partnership of a similar size. The team has extensive experience of investing venture capital in these sectors over the last 30 years.
