Urbanary Ltd is an AI-powered local discovery and recommendation platform that helps people quickly find relevant venues, experiences, and things to do based on their preferences, context, and intent.

Urbanary combines a proprietary “vibe-based” taxonomy with artificial intelligence to deliver highly personalised recommendations across hospitality, leisure, culture, and entertainment. Unlike traditional directory platforms, Urbanary structures venue and experience data in a way that enables users to search using natural language inputs such as mood, budget, occasion, location, and interests, significantly improving relevance and decision-making speed.

The company is evolving beyond a consumer discovery website into a scalable B2B SaaS infrastructure product through its white label recommendation widget, which allows media companies, universities, tourism organisations, event platforms, and hospitality businesses to embed Urbanary’s intelligent discovery capability directly into their own websites and digital ecosystems.

This enables partner organisations to:
improve user experience by helping audiences quickly discover relevant places and experiences increase engagement and time on site provide curated recommendations aligned to their brand or editorial focus surface relevant venues, offers, and experiences for specific audience segments such as students, visitors, families, or professionals enhance commercial opportunities through affiliate bookings, partnerships, and sponsored placements
Urbanary’s technology includes a scalable venue ingestion engine capable of rapidly building structured databases for new cities, enabling efficient geographic expansion. The platform is designed to integrate with partner systems and can be deployed quickly, allowing organisations to offer personalised discovery tools without significant technical overhead.

The company has validated early demand through user engagement on its Leeds-based platform and is currently onboarding initial white label pilot partners across media, tourism, and experience sectors.

Urbanary operates at the intersection of AI, local commerce, and digital infrastructure, addressing the growing need for more intelligent, personalised discovery tools as consumers increasingly expect instant, relevant recommendations.

The long-term vision is to become the underlying discovery layer powering how people explore cities globally, across multiple industries and digital platforms.

WattsOff Ltd is a UK-based energy technology company aiming to be a go to brand for energy efficiency. The company’s core product, WattsOff Now, is a retrofit smart-unit installed adjacent to a building’s electrical distribution board that automatically switches off non-essential electrical circuits when they are not required.

Unlike device-level solutions such as smart plugs or building management systems, WattsOff operates at the circuit level. This allows entire groups of equipment to be disconnected outside operating hours without requiring changes to occupant behaviour.

The technology is protected by granted patents, including a European unitary patent, and has progressed to a working prototype tested in a live commercial environment.

WattsOff initially targets commercial and light industrial buildings, where standby and unnecessary energy use typically accounts for 5–13% of electricity consumption. In the UK alone, this inefficiency is estimated to cost businesses over £1.6 billion annually.

The company was founded in 2025 by an experienced team with backgrounds in electrical engineering, renewable energy infrastructure, asset management and regulated finance. WattsOff is supported by Innovate UK Business Growth and is raising capital under SEIS and EIS.
